The Next Staking Round

Are you ready to join in with a brand new round of BCMHunt’s low effort — high potential game mode?

We have had a successful first staking round.

Monster Councils, the BCMHunt NFT Staking Program, is where you can monetize the precious monster you have caught instead of risking losing it in battle, especially when you might not have enough time to play it to its full potential.

Our first staking period came to an end on 11th April, with 9,657 monsters staked throughout 72 councils, generating a total reward of 990,000,000 Energy. The highest-earning Wild Council was G40, a legendary monster type, at 5,000,000 Energy per monster. Meanwhile the Genesis Councils also offered impressive rewards with Flareos stealing the spotlight with nearly 300,000 Energy per monster.

Along with many other exciting features to be released this summer, we would like to announce the next Staking Round:

MAY 2022 STAKING POOL

Timing

• Monsters can be staked in their respective Pools from May 17th (7 AM UTC) to May 19th (7 AM UTC).
• If you commit to staking your monster for the designated period, this commitment cannot be undone, as monsters can only be claimed back once the staking round has come to an end.
• The Locking Period will last until July 18th (60 days total)
• After July 18th, users can claim back their monsters with the same statistics as when they previously left them.

Rewards

As we explained during the first round, part of the total revenue collected through in-game activites, such as monster catching, is allocated to future staking pools as rewards.

A total of 3,015,277,756 energy has been spent in total - 2,777,778,000 of which (equal to 2,777,7778 BCMC) has been burnt following the periodical burning schedule to stablize the governance token. The remaining amount, added by our subsidy, has resulted in a total of 1,000,000,000 Energy for the May 2022 Staking Pool reward.

• The reward ratio is 1:1 between 50 Wild councils and 22 Genesis councils
• 500,000,000 Energy for Wild councils to be divided equally between 50 councils (1 for each genus-group)
• 500,000,000 Energy for Genesis councils to be divided equally between 22 councils. Gemmar and Gemritter’s councils (2 promotional Genesis monsters) are 2 special cases as we have only distributed a small amount of these monsters. For this reason, the number of staked monsters in Gemmar and Gemritter’s councils will be raised to match those of Steinn and Steinar’s councils respectively. (Additional monsters are taken from our undistributed pool).
• Every day, starting from May 19th, 1/60th of the total reward pool will be claimable. Users can profit from immediate Energy withdraw at any time.
