What does it mean to be a Community Manager?

As a Community Manager, your job is to check in with your team online, engage with your community, and cultivate an intimate relationship with the gaming community, with focus on Discord and Telegram. (From 12–23 UTC)

Being the first point of contact with fans and followers, your sole mission is to keep them enthusiastic and passionate about the Blockchain Monster Hunt game, and well informed on ongoing marketing initiatives through effective interactions and engagement tactics.

You are the face, voice and ears of Blockchain Monster Hunt in the digital world, helping to develop and maintain the brand’s voice and image while following the core values of the project and communication targets of each specific period.

You’ll also need to run rigorous testing to optimise community engagement tactics as part of the Lifecycle Marketing strategy with user-focused content to creatively engage with followers on our owned channels as well as seeding on established channels — influencers and PR, to contribute to the overall development of the community

What will you be doing?

• Build a proactive community management strategy and apply best practices of community management across online and offline channels, take ownership of setting up community initiatives
• Welcome and support new members to help them have a smooth game onboarding experience.
• Handle users’ complaints end to end, be the middle man between the community and dev team to make sure effective communication and thorough solutions.
• Recommend and onboard scalable software solutions to support communication channels (e.g., Twitter, Discord and Telegram).
• Provide recommendations to other internal teams based on community feedback.
• Manage and grow a network of passionate gamers and drive program improvement & expansion vectors.
• Generate periodic reports on emerging trends and community sentiment.

What are we looking for?

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and one of the following prioritised languages: Philipin, French, Hindi
• Passion for learning about blockchain, cryptocurrency, and new technologies is required
• BCMHunt passionate players will have strong advantages
• Experience working in community management, event management or similar roles is a plus.
• Good time management and task prioritisation skills.
• Experience with social media platforms used by businesses, especially Twitter, Discord and Telegram
